Description
Old Ramsay Homestead - old stone house in East Drumore Township, Lancaster County, built about 1725 or 1730 on farm now owned by Leander Shoemaker (at time of photograph) - the birthplace of Dr. David Ramsay, on of Pennsylvania's most illustrious sons: patriot, historian, statesman, and President of the Continental Congress in 1785.
Provenance
