Theological Seminary - Lancaster, Penna. Originally founded in 1825 at Carlisle, Penna. by the German Reformed Church, the school moved to several other neighboring towns before being housed in the present structure in 1893. Because of a synod merger in 1934, the name was changed to Theological Seminary of the Evangelical and Reformed Church.
Stevens Trade School, Lancaster. "The Thaddeus Stevens Industrial School is located near the edge of town, just south of East King Street. This institution for needy and orphaned boys was erected by the state in 1909 on the estate of Thaddeus Stevens, willed for such a purpose."

American Legion Section Riverview Burial Park, Lancaster's Original Garden of Memories (Established 1908). This beautiful memorial section, officially dedicated by Post No. 34, is but one of the many outstadning feattures of Riverview, including the Sun Dial Garden, Star Garden, Sunken Garden and Babyland. Age-old trees of unusual beauty and shrubbery and flowers in aboundance have created an exquisite spot dedicated to sacred memories. Delightfule music heard throughout the Cemetery adds to the inspiration.
