Stiletto or awl of steel with wood handle and handmade protective tip.
Tool has a shaft of rounded steel coming to a sharp point. Mounted on a black-painted, turned wood handle, largest at end and tapering toward steel shaft where it terminates with two turned rings.
A chromed metal slide glides along tool shaft and is clamped in place with a knurled screw. Stamped on this slide is "PATD' APR-6-09" (or 00) and nearby is a symbol with the words "TRADE/ MARK."
Stiletto is fitted with a protective tip made of a bottle cork with crocheted cover and crocheted top ring.

Glass ball has minor surface abrasions or imperfections; some small nicks and scratches in the base, and a 1/2" area of finish loss on the center of the bottom.
Pewter basin, part of the Warwick Congregation's (now known as the Brickerville United Lutheran Church) communion service.
High, rounded sides flare out to a flattened rim with rolled edge. Booge appears to be unhammered. Barns struck his large circular mark with an eagle on the inside of bottom. The left portion of the eagle as well as the letters "BAR" on the bottom are discernible, as well as the "HE" above the eagle.
Probably made in Middletown or Wallingford, Connecticut.

Stiletto or bodkin of turned bone, fitted in a conical basket-weave holder or sheath.
Stiletto (A) has ball-shaped head with hole in it, then narrowing to a neck with additional swells and narrowing until it tapers from midsection down to a sharp point.
Holder (B) is an elongated cone made with a brown reed-like material woven onto ribs like a basket. Handle is a twisted form of the same material, shaped in a double loop configuration.
It is assumed that this pair of otems were originally dwsigned for each other.

Bodkin of bone is a flattened needle with one rounded end and one end with a blunt point. Slot of 5/8" in length is cut into body near rounded end. This tool is used for threading ribbons, etc. through casings, fabric tubes or loops.

Bodkin of steel is a blunt needle used for threading ribbons or other fabric through casings, loops, etc.
Two thin pieces of tapered steel are laminated together through half their length at narrow end. Two pieces at wider end are separated, allowing a ribbon or other material to be fitted into "jaws" and clamped in place via a sliding mechanism fitted into slot that extends lenthwise toward jaws. Inside of jaw ends have 3 pairs of raised barbs or teeth that enable the jaws to hold material without slipping.
Stamped on one side at midsection is "THE DOT." This likely refers to the rounded sliding mechanism fitted in the slot.

Bodkin is two thin pieces of tapered steel that are laminated together through half their length at narrow end. Two pieces at wider end are separated, allowing a ribbon or other material to be fitted into "jaws" and clamped in place via a sliding mechanism fitted into slot that extends lenthwise toward jaws. Jaws are enabled to hold material without slipping via two raised beads stamped into one side and two matching holes on other side.
Stamped onto one side of tool at midsection is "PATD. MAR. 29. 92."

Ribbon threader or bodkin is a blade of nickel-plated non-ferrous metal, in a torpedo shape, wide and rounded at one end and tapering to a point at other end. Two slots are cut in wide end for stringing ribbon that needs to be threaded through casings in waistbands, wristbands, etc.
Stamped inscriptions: On one side of tool is "RIBBON THEADER", "REGISTERED", "No. 3", AND "K.B.C.".

White porcelain plate decorated with a 1" pink border and gold edging. The center of bowl has hand-painted landscape next to a body of water. Far bank has a promontory surmounted with a high square tower and an attached arched viaduct. Waterfall courses through arches of viaduct to waterway beneath. A small sailing ship is anchored at left. Three boys with wide-brim hats, breeches and stockings along water on near bank. High rocks and twisting tree frame the scene at left.
Painted cursive inscription on bottom: "Feuillet rue de la / paix no. 20." Jean-Pierre Feuillet, Decorator (French, 1777-1840). See Notes

"Feuillet introduced a porcelain decorating studio at the Rue de la Paix, Paris in 1820. The products came chiefly from the Royal Factory Sèvres. His successor was Boyer (1845)."
Another seller writes:
"The Feuillet studio was at 18, Rue de la Paix, advantageously located for the wealthy denizens of the area to come visit and make purchases. The Prince of Conde gave Feuillet his protection, thus assuring a constant flow of high-end clients. Feuillet's design atelier reached its apex in the mid-1820s, lavishly decorating some of the most remarkable plates of the time. The combination of rich paste gilding, saturated border colors and meticulous fruit or floral still life paintings made the factory's output one of the favorite choices, other than Sevres, for purchase by the new French Regime. According to the book "Paris Porcelain" by Regine de Plinval de Guillebon, "Feuillet was one of the best decorators in the Restauration period," (Paris Porcelain, page 244)."

Hand-painted pearlware bowls. Vibrant red and blue dominate with large red flower off-center on bottom of bowl. Off to sides are 4 small flowers on 1 side and 2 flowers and large bi-color (green & yellow) leaf. Blue stems and leaves are painted in the bowl and the upper edge is banded in blue. The top edge is painted a burgundy/brown.
Glazed soft paste porcelain bowl, hand-painted "Kings Rose" pattern decoration. Sitting on a footring , the bowl has steeply curving high sides. Decorated on opposing sides with the same design of a large red flower surrounded by smaller yellow flowers with rust petals and leaves.Interior design along rim are four pink flowers spaced around rim and linked by thin line banding, S-curves, and various round shapes. Center of bottom has one red flower with leaves.
Papers stickers underneath are: "Gaudy Dutch/ Kings Rose," then "18B" and finally a loan number "6.23.82" referring to the 1982 loan to the Heritage Center.
Small scratches and areas of paint loss, particularly the round, green "fruits" on inner rim. Inside discoloration, stains, soil. Some wear to foot ring. Rim has multiple tiny chips, abrasions and wear.
Bowl (1992.11.7) shaped to crade lid (1992.11.7a). Top edge banded in gold, on both top and undersides. Wide gold band with narrow band beneath encircle the bowl. Narrow band around the base.
Lid decorated with gold grapes (as a grip) resting on painted-veined grape leaves. "Atlee" lettered in gold on opposite sides. Base of the lid encirocled by wide gold band with thin bands inside around extruded top.
Mochaware bowl of warm tan color overall. Decorative 1.875-inch band 1/2 inch from the top, bordered by two solid brown lines on both sides. Inner 1.375-inch white band is decorated with two brown hairy wavy lines. Circular exterior base has rim.
Tape on base of bowl: "1899/J.B. Morris, Jr." & "MOCHA/ 1B"
2 inch crack/seam front lip to indentures that have firing glaze over them. Some pieces have fallen out to reveal red clay beneath. Crazing in crack area as well as areas near the base on both interior and exterior of the bowl.
Tiny mochaware bowl is white overall. Outside of bowl is decorated with bands of blue and rust. A wider white band has brown line crossing vertical black stripes.
Large, shallow redware bowl. Interior base is slip decorated using a stencil of a rooster. Chased into bottom is the name of the maker and date of construction, "Anne Stodder Adams (Umlauf)
