Bowmansville Old Order Mennonite Meetinghouse. This meetinghouse has served various Mennonite congregations since 1893, when the Weaverland Conference was formed. Von Nieda's Mill, Bowmansville. Built in 1850 by Henry Von Nieda, this mill ground feed and flour continuously until the early 1940's, when operations were discontinued. Located on Route 625, the mill also featured a water-driven sawmill. Printed for the Bowmansville Sesquicentennial.
Main Street, Bowmansville. In 1820, Samuel Bowman built his residence and general merchandise store on the site now occupied by the Bowmansville Youth Hostel. The covered bridge at Pool Forge. This old covered bridge is noted by manhy as a landmark in this area. It was so named in this area. It was so named from the old stone forge located on this site, right off State Highway 23 between Goodville and Churchtown, Pennsylvania.
