Photograph of cased image taken at the Addis Gallery in Lancaster, c. 1852, of the Christian Shenk family: Christian, wife Mary Warfel Shenk and children, left to right, Elizabeth Shenk Fahnestock, Anna Shenk Kendig, Abraham Shenk and Rudolph Shenk. The Shenks were proprietors of the Sorrel Horse Hotel on West King Street in Lancaster.
