Schrank with very elaborate decoration, carving and feet. Feet have been carved to resemble an animal and doors and drawers have clusters of fruit on vines.

Description from page 30 of unknown book: "Plate 35 (72) Extremely large double door Kas. made to completely diassemble. Each door contains two elongated vertical panels, later butt hinges. Cherry primary wood with original mustard finish. Architectural in style 90"H., 86" W., 12 1/2" D. Circa 1865. Collection of Ohio Historical Society."

"17th-century Louis IV armoire carved of oak and walnut, dentil cornice over a pair of doors with mitered moldings, central roundels, and foliate scroll carving, decorated in high-relief masks of Louis XIV above a molded plinth base. Side panels having lozenge motifs, reputedly presented by King William of Orange to Capt. Aubrey Wallis, governor of the Isle of Wight in 1689. Height 94", width 64", depth 24".
