3-section brass speaking trumpet: bell, cone-shaped length, and mouthpiece. Flat seam along entire length. 1/25 inches from the bottom of the mid-section a tab has been attached over the seam. This holds a swiveling wire oval. The edge of the mouthpiece is rolled with pierced holes, .25 inches apart, around the edge. 3.5 inches on the inside of horn is painted red.

Some rust around lower rim of bell. Other dark spots on surface overall.
Brass horn in 2-pieces: Bell (12.25 inches) cone tapering from 3 inches at bottom opening to .75 inches at upper end where a tongue-shaped piece has been attached with solder. This piece can be separated from the top 2 sections that are soldered together and fit onto the larger cone. Single seam on all three sections is a folded edge. Painted red inside.
Cast Iron model of Fire pumping engine. "Friendship 1774" Though this does not refer to anything in Lancaster. This model may refer to the Alexandria, VA Friendship Volunteer fire company which began in 1774.
Steel rod with brass emblem on top. Baton for fire parade marshal. Front circel center contains a raised "A." 4 wing like pieces extend from the center. On top piece is "L" and bottom is "FD." On left is fire hydrant and hose, right are ladder, helmet, etc. A piece of sheet metal secured by the steel rod extends behind the emblem with holes for insertion/anchoring to another rod.
Fire alarm box with light for mounting--flat back with openings for wires. Rectangular with peaked roof with a metal-bar-encased red light. Painted red overall with red "FIRE" painted on white background on both sides. On front, "425" in gold on black background, below white handled-door with clear 2.5-inch x 1.25-inch portion. "Open" in raised letters on handle. "Then Pull Down Hook" below window. Off lower left of hinged door is a covered lock with a key inserted into it. In raised white letters above door: "For Fire." At top, beneath roof peak: "GAMEWELL" in raised red letters.
Button from 1929 Lancaster County Fireman's Association Convention in LItitz, PA. Printed "9th Convention The Lancaster County Fireman's Ass'n Lititz ,Pa. June 8, 1929." Hole in center bottom of button with a metal wire ring holding a brown metal pretzel (1.5 w x 1.25 h) Plain white paper insert in back of button.
Button from 1936 Fireman's Day. White button with black firetruck in center. Black lettering says "Lancaster County FIremans' Day." Below firetruck" June 6, 1936 Christiana, PA." One inch of 3/4 inch wide red ribbon holds a 1 3/8 long gold colored metal fireman's helmet. Maker's name, Erisman Lanc. Pa., in blue ink on paper insert on back of button.
According to donor's records all buttons were from Fireman's Conventions; Fireman's Day seems to be another name for these conventions.
