Description
One of two porcelain candlesticks that are part of a five-piece dresser set. Base edges are flared with a white band decorated with gilt foliate design. The remainder of the flared base is pink surmounted by two rings at the start of the pink candlestick body. Just below the top of the candlestick is a second white band with that same gilt decor. Candle cup and drip edge is white porcelian with gilt edge.

Description
Porcelain perfume bottle that is part of a five-piece dresser set. The bottle has a narrow neck and opening above the wider body. The exterior moth of the bottle is flat and white decorated with a narrow gilt band that surmounts the narrow neck of the pink-colored body of the bottle. The shoulder of the bottle features a wide, white band with a gilt foliate design. Below this band is a the remainder of the pink body. The lid to the bottle is a ball-shaped pink porcelain stopper.

Firescreen with ornate metal stretcher with leaf designs at top. Sides of stretcher have bamboo-like detail work that extends out to scroll-design feet. Stretcher holds a black wooden frame with glass covering a design of ferns of pale yellow/greens and browns in front of a sea-foam green backdrop.

Description
One of two teacups. Inside of cup is lined with gold. Gilt decor forms a wide band on the exterior around the rim that and connects to and covers the handle and a vertical gilt band that connects to the flared foot. The body of the bowl is white with a flower and landscape hand-painted scene.

In 1995 the JBF staff assigned the Object ID W.95.69.2 to this Compote as a FIC probably because original paper records were not found.
In March 2023 the paper file has been found that identifies Lois Cassatt Thayer as the donor in 1935. Mrs. Thayer was the daughter to Alexander Cassatt and his wife, Maria Lois Buchanan Cassatt. Maria Lois Buchanan was the daughter to Rev. Dr. Edward Y. Buchanan, the youngest sibling to President James Buchanan.

Description
One of three demitasse cups. Inside of cup is lined with gilt decor that extends over the cup's rim. The rim gilding connects to two vertical gilt bands and a band around the base forming a frame around varied handpainted landscape scenes; the cup handle is also gilded. The remainder of the outer body has a solid pink hue.
