Stereoscope made of wood. Handle at bottom is 4.5in. Has a wooden slide to help focus on what would be in the stand at the end of the stereoscope. Height is 8 in with the handle.
Sheet iron sign totally painted in black. On front, in gold letters, "Studio of Lloyd Mifflin, Jr. / Floor III / Room VII"
Sticker pasted on back with "This art studio sign was used by Lloyd Mifflin. His studio was on 1224 Chestnut St. Phila. - present Wanamaker site" hand printed in black ink.
In three pieces: two broken sides and two portions missing. Bits of glue on back and on edge. Dark smudge on front upper left. Writing on front is fading and letters 'aint" missing from the word "Painting."
Sheet iron sign with black background and .125-inch gold border. "Alex H. Hood / Attorney at Law" in gold letters. Paper glued onto back with the following in cursive handwriting in ink: "Alexander H. Hood/ Lancaster, Pa./ Studied Law under/ Thaddeus Stevens/ &/ admitted to the Bar/ 1844. - Died 5-24-1875"
Some paint scratched off on front revealing shiny silver underneath. Marred and scratched in spots. Some ruse. Paint worn off around 6 holes along edges.
