Diary of Clara L. Myers, a young teacher in Terre Hill, Pennsylvania. She may have been an assistant teacher before she took the certification exam. The day-in-the-life entries include weather, family outings, updates about animals, school assignments, daily chores, family health reports, and local news. On April 8, Clara recorded that there was a fire at Diller's Stables. There is a brief record of salary and expenses, as well as a list of letters received and answered from January to May. The Mayor's Court was established at the incorporation of the City of Lancaster in 1818, and was composed of the mayor, recorder, and aldermen with powers and jurisdiction analogous to the Court of Quarter Sessions of the Peace, Oyer and Terminer, and Jail Delivery. It was abolished on 6 February 1849.

Coroners' Inquests are inquests conducted by six men, on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, into the cause of a person's death. Inquests include: municipality; name of coroner; signatures of the six jurors; name of decedent; date of inquest; reason for death; name of coroner's physician, and names of witnesses to the inquest. Handwritten on printed form.
