As part of an Autumn weekend in Lancaster County, PA, visit Zimmerman's Hardware Store in Intercourse. Members of the Amish community still buy their hardware here, which also served as a filming site for the 1985 film "Witness", starring Harrison Ford.

Class is in session today just as it has been for over 90 years at the Weavertown One Room School in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Life-size animated wax "scholars", surrounded by original blackboards and wooden desks, recreate a classroom atmosphere similar to that found in the one-room school system still used by the Old Order Amish.

The newest of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania's wineries is the Mount Hope Estate and Winery. At Mt. Hope, visitors complete the tour of this formal Victorian mansion with an elegant touch: the tasting of wines, served in the billiard room, surrounded by stained glass windows and an 18 foot ceiling.
