This collection was relocated from the Wheatland mansion to the LancasterHistory archives in the Spring of 2009. Letter from Jasper Yeates to his wife, Sarah in which he described the journey by stagecoach from Lancaster to Lancaster with their young grandson, Yeates. Jasper knew that his wife wanted to hear how their grandson fared on the journey to Philadelphia-if he slept, how he behaved, and what he ate-and that he was back with his family in Philadelphia.
