The central portion consists of four vertical columns listing categories of items for sale: Baskets, Brushes, Whips, Spectacles, Beads, Combs, Jewelry, Brooms, Britannia Ware, Reeds, Cedar Ware, Pocket-books, Wooden Ware, Curls, Japanned Ware, Blinds, Looking-glasses, Cords, Mats, Curled Maple Ware Varnished, Fancy Articles. Agreement between Elliott T. Lane and James Buchanan concerning funds of Jane B. Lane, Elliott’s wife and James’ sister, and in case she makes no will, how the estate will be divided. Involves bequeaths from her father, James Buchanan, and her mother, Elizabeth Buchanan. Also mentioned in the agreement are her sister, Harriett Henry, and her brother, the Reverend Edward Y. Buchanan, and her four children, James B. Lane, Elliott E. Lane, Mary Elisabeth Lane and Harriett Rebecca Lane. Franklin County, PA.

One pair of Chippendale brass and iron andirons. Contains large reeded ball at top, three graduated small balls center and large ball at base. Snake turned base with two small balls each side of snake turning. Rear of base small turned ball with double column base.
This pair of American Empire brass andirons feature large turned finials with a mushroom cap. The finials surmount small canisters with turnings at the top and base. The uprights are supported by raised scroll bases on ball feet and a wrought iron back for holding logs.
Questions on Africa, numbers 8 through 11; List of books in English and Latin belonging to Edward Young Buchanan and their cost; on back a plea from Elizabeth Buchanan for relief from her severe cough lasting for ten years and a poem by Elizabeth on the same topic dated 2 July 1834.
