Summary
This article deals with fraternal leaders of Lancaster County who ascended to the highest office in the state organization of their respective bodies. It presents a representative group of leaders in eight of the many fraternal lodges in the county: Ancient and Illustrious Order Knights of Malta, Junior Order United American Mechanics, Independent Order Of Odd Fellows, The Knights Of The Golden Eagle, Rough Riders Of America, Benevolent And Protective Order Of Elks, and Artisans Order Of Mutual Protection.
