White porcelain plate decorated with a 1" pink border and gold edging. The center of bowl has hand-painted landscape next to a body of water. Far bank has a promontory surmounted with a high square tower and an attached arched viaduct. Waterfall courses through arches of viaduct to waterway beneath. A small sailing ship is anchored at left. Three boys with wide-brim hats, breeches and stockings along water on near bank. High rocks and twisting tree frame the scene at left.

White porcelain bowl set on a raised foot. Gold motif at center is concentric circles of floral and foliate design; outer ring has 12 elongated flowers radiating outward. Edge has 1/2" wide band of gold that extends to outside. The raised foot is gold. Upper half of outside of bowl painted pink and banded at lower edge with gold.

About one quarter of bowl's side has been broken out in pieces and repaired with 10 staples at outside cracks. Large edge losses have been filled and painted. Additional hairline cracks on inside, opposite large repair.
All gold decoration is worn, esp. at rim.

Edge has 1/2" wide band of gold that extends to underside. Entire pedestal is gold. Bowl exterior painted pink with two landscape-painted panels outlined with gold. One scene is a river with large tree in foreground and far bank having a stone building and wall with raised tower. Second scene is a river with trees on both sides, and an unusual raised stone building with three different roofed sections at top.

A 3.75" long crack from a blow at rim edge extends into bowl towards center. Outer side has large chip at crack with smaller chip nearby.Gold decoration worn at rim edges and salient parts of pedestal. Two raised "footrings" have some soil and wear.

One of two clear leaded glass nut dishes. Octagonal and oblong clear glass dishes with flared sides. Laurel wreath border etched 0.50" below the lip around all eight sides. Monogram 'HE' (for Henry Elliott Johnston) etched at the center base.
Glass is 0.125" thick. All 8 sides angle inward to the base at approximately a 45 degree angle. The base measures 4.125" long by 2.50" wide.

A small chip is missing from the lip one of the short octagonal corners. Some light scatches are visible on the base around the monogram initials 'HE.'
Rectangular tray. White porcelain with gold trim, raised pink tray with support openings for a white ink well and a white pounce sander. Scalloped edges form handles on both ends of the raised tray and continues along the oblong tray that held pens. Scalloped edges feature gilded edges on white background bordered by a wide cobalt blue band gilt floral decor. The center of the pen tray is white with a pink, blue and white flower motif.

One of 44 Parisian Pink dinner plates. White with gold laurel leaf border; inside wider band of pink bordered with gold; monogram 'HEJ' and coat of arms (armored upraised arm with dagger) in gold; scalloped edge.
White porcelain plate with 1" pink border and narrow gold outline at edge. A half-inch-wide band of gold encircles central painted landscape with a dismounted rider wearing top hat and riding gear standing with horse and nearby barking dog.
Bottom inscription is: "Feuillet rue de la paix no. 20."
Hairline crack across center of nearly entire plate. Overpainting on inner and outer bands of gold and probably the pink border at center left and right of scene. Pink paint is cracking and lifting at left. Chip at right side (3:00 o'clock) with lifting pink paint on underside of edge. Underside has dulled and darkened areas under both sides of rim where crack extends, indicating overpainting.
