Tom Heckles, center, is welcomed home from Vietnam by his wife, Kathy, and his father, John, at the Heckles home on Springside Drive in Lancaster. Heckles served two tours in the Navy as a Sea Bee.
Open door to smokehouse on property at Abbeville. Written on back: "John Farmer believes Mrs. Armstrong said it was a smokehouse, was Lancaster's jail door. Door was on white shed to southeast of house. Door given by Armstrongs to scrap metal drive, WWII".
