Description
The Yeates, Carson Collection covers several generations and a variety of topics and gives insight into family and local social history from 1700-1874. The items in the collection include business and legal papers, receipts, estate accounts, correspondence, a biographical sketch of Jasper Yeates' grandfather, land surveys, indentures, financial records, and land agreements. The collection also contains a list of books sent to Phineas Bond for binding, certificates with seals, copies of poems, eviction notices, and requests for items to be delivered to Simon Girty and others in 1776.

Neck and upper bottle decorated in glass with a fluted collar that ends with a scalloped edge. On the side, enclosed in an oval, "Ideal Milk Products co. Lancaster, PA." On the other side "One pint liquid." On the base "A.B.C. 2 - Registered" On bottom, in big letters "LMP"
Provenance
Donor states that on Jan. 1, 1929, York Sanitary Milk Co., Lancaster Sanitary Milk Co. and Ideal Milk Products Co. combined to form Penn Dairies.

Description
Wine bottle. Brown glass, shallow pontil, seamed shoulder and neck. Cork with red wax to seal mouth. Wine inside almost to shoulder level. Found by volunteers sometime during the early years of the James Buchanan Foundation. Bottle was found in the east end of the basement level in the Wheatland mansion.
