The Musical Composers of Lancaster County Collection contains sheet music written by local composers. Some local titles are "Lancaster German Waltz" and "Lancaster Theme & Gratitude Theme." Included in the collection is information about S. Becker von Grabill, composer and pianoforte teacher, and James L. Knipe of Aston, Knipe & McCarthy.
This collection contains event programs, correspondence, meeting minutes, sheet music, performance notes, financial receipts, invoices and one 78 rpm record of the East Petersburg Male Acapella Chorus.
Admin/Biographical History
The East Petersburg Male Acapella Chorus was established in 1927. They performed mainly at churches and church functions throughout southeast Pennsylvania and were devoted to singing hymns and religious music. Willis S. Nolt served as director of the chorus beginning in the 1930s.

Two men in a violin maker's workshop. Written on the front of the photograph: "With best wishes t our good friend Louis Vyner, Wm. Moennig Sr., William H. Moennig Jr. Nov. 1st, 1939". William Moennig and Son is one of the oldest and most distinguished dealers and appraisers of rare violins, violas, cellos and their bows in the world. Founded in Philadelphia in 1909.
