From glass plate negatives bought by Kevin Shue at Horst Auction. Photographer unknown, but most images are of the Warwick Township or Safe Harbor areas.
Ella Rohrer married Philip Charles Efinger circa 1920. Ella attended nursing school at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia, c. 1915. Philip served in World War 1 as an 2nd Lt. in Co. D, 56th Infantry, United States Army. Ella was a great-aunt of the donor, Richard Hauck.
Photographs from MG-63, the Johnny Hauck Collection. Hauck was a local boxing historian and brother of noted local boxer Leo Hauck. The Haucks grew up in Lancaster's Cabbage Hill neighborhood and were known as all-around athletes.
