"A transcription of commentary on the separation of the Stauffer (Pike) Mennonites from Lancaster Conference...Jacob W. Stauffer wrote a Chronicle to explain and defend his position after he and his supporters separated from the Lancaster Mennonite Conference. The book was not published until after his death...Abraham S. Martin was ordained a minister in the Groffdale Mennonite church after Jacob W. Stauffer withdrew to form a new group, called the Stauffer (Pike) Mennonites. In his copy of Jacob W. Stauffer's book...he wrote a number of comments about matters on which he disagreed with the author.
