Letter from E. Y. Buchanan to H. B. Swarr noting that the advertisement of Rev. Buchanan’s farm contains the superfluous word “on” and asking to have Mr. Smith correct it; asking him as a personal favor to contact Mr. Dripps regarding a late mortgage payment; noting that nothing has been received from Mr. Wise yet, except Mr. Monaghan has received $100 from him; worrying that Mr. Hiester may accept delays from Judge Black regarding the lawsuit, and that until the issue is settled they may as well not bother to hire a biographer because they could not furnish him with any papers other than those already in their possession; and noting that he has spoken to Mr. Cassatt again concerning Charles.
