Description
Brass chamberstick constructed of sheet rolled brass, with oval base, 3-position adjustable height stem, thin band handle.
Candle holder extends about 5" into the hollow shaft. A smallcup (inside shaft) is attached to an external handle that allows the candle height to be adjusted. The shaft is cut open 4.25" to allow candle movement. 3 side slits along opening for anchoring so candle stick can be carried. Oval shaped drip pan. 'LTR' scratched on to the bottom of drip pan.

Weathervane constructed in shape of rooster of painted sheet iron with hand forged hinges. "1759" cut out from center. Streaks of paint to represent feathers on tail and from neck. Yellow beak and red comb and chin.
From old hotel on the Lincoln Highway east of Lancaster, PA. Purchased at the sale of the estate of the Misses Metzger by donor.
