Horace E. Kennedy campaign button. Kennedy ran for Mayor of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and served as the city's mayor from 1920-1922. Blue and gold color border around photo of Kennedy. Made by J.H. Shaw, Phila., Pa. Owned by Mrs. D.B. Landis who may have also donated it.
Two brown buttons with "Landon" above a "G.O.P." elephant and "Knox" below. Buttons are pinned to yellow felt circles with scalloped/petal edges like flowers. Alf Landon (1887-1987) and Frank Knox (1874-1944) were Republican candidates for President and Vice-President in 1936.

Button shows picture of Sproul in a keystone. Printed in gold on blue ribbon below: "For Governor/ Honorable/ Wm. C. Sproul/ and/ the whole/ Republican/ Ticket/ Nov. 5th, 1918." Stamped gold tasseled edge on bottom.
Sproul (1870-1928) won the election and was governor of PA from 1919 to 1923. He was born in Colerain Twp. in Lancaster County. Made by J.H. Shaw, Phila., Pa.

Large stain, lower left. Print has faded. Ribbon is taped to a piece of notebook paper (6 x 9.5) with three holes in left margin for a ring notebook.
Souvenir badge, ribbon and medallion. Lettering on the red, white and blue striped ribbon: "14th National/ Encampment/ G.A.R./ Atlantic City, N.J./ Sept. 19-24th/ 1910." Circular coin/medallion hanging below the ribbon shows, on the reverse, a soldier standing between two tents, On the front of silver-colored metal coin is a commemorative ribbon in the center. The words "Fraternity, Charity, Loyalty, 1861 1865" encircle it.
