The author's father, the late Dr. Denney, took this view of Dillerville tower about 1915 with his folding Kodak from the rear platform of an eastbound passenger train as it swung off the Columbia branch and headed for the old downtown North Queen Street station in Lancaster

This rare view ofrom a glass plate negative dating back to the turn of the century or better shows the Victorian era tower and the rail complex at Dillerville. The view is looking north showing the Reading's single track Lancaster branch.
