Sports-type patch of red and green silk machine stitching on white wool felt in a triangular shape. Within a white lifeguard lifesaver with green trim is "SENIOR LIFE SAVER Y.M.C.A." in red. Inside lifesaver is a green cross. Outside border is red.
Myers must have been a swimming pool lifeguard for Y.M.C.A. in his Senior High years.
Sports letter patch from J.P. McCaskey High School for 1943. Blue and white chenille on felt with a plasticized linen backing. Myers graduated from McCaskey this year and was on the wrestling team.
White cotton strip with curved ends. Mid-way on length, 12-inch side piece attached on sides to fold across onto center section. Top and bottom fold over side pieces to create a fabric envelope made to store folded nightgowns. "Nightgowns" is embroidered in blue on top piece. Edges finished with machine-sewn white cotton binding.
Cape has finely over cast lower edge. Cape is fully lined with black wool with hemmed lower edge, tacked to outer cape every 8 to 15 inches.

Underneath collar are two metal threaded pins that anchor metal ends with a chain for hanging the cape. This chain (3 inches) is inside at the neck above a label:
"JACOB REED'S SONS PHILADELPHIA"
2 ornate black cord frogs (7 inches in length) with a loop on the end to loop arouind a cord (2 inches). One on both sides. Sturdy hook and loop at neck.
