Thompson might be ill; had a great sail to Providence and might go to Block Island next; Mr. Schmidt sent Mr Winan of Baltimore to look at the yacht but seems uninterested in buying it; Cousin Will Buchanan is too ill to come; and only one beautiful woman in Newport.
