The earliest photo of the Strasburg Railroad. Nothing is known about when the locomotive was acquired from the Pennsylvania Railroad. The coal dock still remains at Strasburg. Why they had seven cars of coal all at once for Strasburg is unknown.

A scene in 1954 at Strasburg. In the rear is the engine house. The coal dock is out of sight ot the left and two sidings for feed are located on the left and on the right where the boxcar was. It was the only freight car on the road.

Post card image. The first engine acquired by the railfans was this engine. Subsequently, the railroad acquired a Pennsy D-16 and another 4-4-0 and the 0-4-0 from Colo. Fuel and Iron Co. at Birdsboro camelback. In 66 the railroad was selected as the sight for the State's Railroad Museum.
