Garvin's Department Store with James Lenox's produce stand to the right in front of the steps to the Lancaster County Courthouse, East King Street, Lancaster.
Fire at Reilly Bros. and Raub. Postcard picture sent to A. Albert, 1020 Mifflin St. Lebanon, Pa. Note on back: "This is a picture of the fire, from the front. This is N. Queen St. This picture was taken 1/2 hr. after the explosion. Trey "(?) Another note: "Use glass. See the Horse Fire Wagon."

Several large buildings were burned to the ground, loss about $400,000. The Grand Army Hall and all its valuable war relics including General Reynolds' saddle which was on his horse at Gettysburg when he was shot. This picture was bought at 12:30 on day of fire.
