Porcelain plate with hand-painted floral decoration.
Blue flowers
Hand-painted cluster of small 5-petaled light blue flowers beginning on the bottom outer edge of 1" rim, flowing upward toward center of plate, filling aobut 1/3 of the surface. At the top, a yellow butterfly flies up toward the outer edge.
Transfer print decorated plate. Pink transfer on rim, green transfer on interior, scene of bridge.
Plate with red and green transfer print of what appears to be an Asian scene. Central (green) section shows a suspension bridge. Three people stand together in foreground. Small boats, buildings with mountains in the background. Small decorative red border in center. 2.25-inch wide red ends with a small border along the scalloped edge.
On the back of the plate, in green, is a shield with uppercase cursive "EW&S" above a bridge with towers at each end. "Suspension/Bridges" is printed within. A "12" is stamped in green on the plate.
Scalloped green edge plate with eagle and shield design and 15 stars.
Hand-painted patriotic eagle with outspread wings behind a red, white and blue shield on the plate. In feet, the eagle holds 3 arrows on the left (facing viewer) and leaves in right claws.15 stars/asterisks float above the eagle's wings.
Plate's scalloped edge is outlined with fine-lined indentations that are painted green. English Staffordshire Leeds Pearlware.
Scalloped blue edge plate with hand-painted patriotic eagle with shield and 11 stars. Red paint on eagle's head and beak. Wings are spread and red, white and blue shield covers breast. Left talon (facing viewer) holds 8 arrows; olive leaves in right talon
Press-molded pearlware dish with blue transfer printed scene consisting of Colliseum. Pattern name, "Italian Scenery Coliseum," is printed on bottom along with stamp of maker.
Tankard, lidded barrel form. Copper body with brass handle, shell thumb piece and four bands encircling body. Interior is tinned. Engraved on opposite side from handle, "COMPLIMENTS/ OF/ JOHN G. SCHAUM/ TO/ FRANK J. RIEKER." One of a pair with P00.42.2.
Believed to be a presentation piece given by Schaum in appreciation for all the work he was given in Rieker's brewery. Schaum did copper, tin and sheet iron work and was the son and one-time partner of plumber/ coppersmith John P. Schaum.

Heavy tarnish overall. Moderate scratching. Slightly dented in center of and below engraving. Small nicks on rim of lid. Minor corrosion where handle and thumb piece connect to body and on bottom. Some polish residue in crevices.
Glazed soft paste porcelain Gaudy Dutch teapot (A) with lid (B). Handpainted "Butterfly" pattern decoration on pale blue body of pearlware. Squat ovoid body sits on a low footring; body swells most in lower half. Collar extends outward below an oblong mouth fitted with conforming domed lid with oblong knob finial . Spout has minimal molding as does arching applied handle.

Overall strong staining, especially at lower spout and base section and interior. Strong hairline cracks throughout base and bottom, with resulting staining. Scratchon butterfly wing. Chip on underside of spout tip. Long split/crack on handle back, perhaps from firing. Coloring is very uneven at multiple places, sometimes creating a mottled effect. Wear and soil under foot ring.

Glazed soft paste porcelain Gaudy Welsh sugar bowl (A) with lid (B). Handpainted inverted tulips of red and yellow are interspersed with 3 large, dominating deep blue scalloped motifs decorated with copper lustre painted floral decoration. Squat pot-bellied body sits on a low squarish pedestal with scalloped edging. Two molded angular applied handles. Top has round mouth with flared collar extends outward. Domed lid has squarish molded knob finial. Darkened remnant of paper sticker with blurred writing, perhaps "-caster/ --ea set/ --1825."

Small cream pitcher of molded white bodied china, dark blue trim around top with gold veining and other highlights. Inverted pear shaped vessel has embossed leaves at sides, four small feet in gold and applied handle. On side of body in stamped, gold lettering is: "Souvenir/ of/ Lancaster/ Pa." (Matching sugar bowl, G.01.35.19)
Stamped underneath in gold is a crown over shield with the monogram of "TGC"(?) The number "4" also stamped in gold.
