Henry to Louisa Anderson stating that he misses his family; attended the Centennial Exhibition; sorry that Mr. Cassatt is spending too much money and that his family will suffer; Delia’s liver is all right; Alice is a terrible wreck but claims to be well now; likes Alice’s a Jessie’s husbands; will visit Uncle Edward over the weekend; seems to compare the Centennial Exhibition unfavorably with the shops on Broadway; did not bother to see Presidents Hayes and Grant; did not see Mrs. Stokes; and sends his best to Aunt Sidney.
