Henry to Louisa Anderson responding to the news of the sick baby and is sorry for the robin’s [bird] death; recounts his and Arthur and his daily rows and Will is building up his strength; comments on the dry weather; sends checks for Joe’s expenses; hopes she will get the necessary tickets for Ive’s visit and gives alternatives if she cannot; asks that the gun be left at home since hunting season is over; and gives his itinerary for returning home by sea.
