Pistol with flint lock and John Armstorong engraved in script letters on the lock plate, full stock of curly maple, brass mountings, brass inlay, octagonal-to-round barrel with John Armstrong engraved in script letters on the top facet of the barrel
The signature of the maker on the barrel and the lock of this pistorl is one of its attractive features. The pierced lock-bolt plate and the brass inlay around the breech tang are also decorative details of unusual merit.
