Description
Letter from E. Y. Buchanan to H. B. Swarr returning a paper signed and sealed; asking for points Mr. Reynolds dwelt upon in his argument; hoping Mr. North showed the falsity of the Johnstons’ claims; wondering why the Johnstons did not give depositions and asking if they were present; regretting that the proceedings are slowing payment to the legatees; and musing on possible ramifications if the court decides against them on their right to hold the $5000 and the presidential papers. Oxford Church Parsonage, Philadelphia.
