Henry to Louisa Anderson observing that Mr. Magruder is reluctant to complete a deal on furniture; Mr. Parker writes that the Williams Co. cannot pay its dividend and James Buchanan Henry hopes to sell out soon; the yacht will have steam and he will head to New York and Staten Island soon; David is home from school and Alice is ailing but the child is keeping Louisa busy.
