Letter from E. Y. Buchanan to H. B. Swarr noting that the advertisement of Rev. Buchanan’s farm contains the superfluous word “on” and asking to have Mr. Smith correct it; asking him as a personal favor to contact Mr. Dripps regarding a late mortgage payment; noting that nothing has been received from Mr. Wise yet, except Mr. Monaghan has received $100 from him; worrying that Mr. Hiester may accept delays from Judge Black regarding the lawsuit, and that until the issue is settled they may as well not bother to hire a biographer because they could not furnish him with any papers other than those already in their possession; and noting that he has spoken to Mr. Cassatt again concerning Charles. Oxford Church Parsonage, Philadelphia.

This collection was relocated from the Wheatland mansion to the LancasterHistory archives in the Spring of 2009.
