Henry to William Anderson giving general details of the boys’ final examinations at school and their preparations for going to Lake George; received an invitation to Virginia Douglas’ wedding; has bought a house in Brooklyn to be occupied in the fall; hopes to find a suitable person to run it; received a letter from Frank in Bombay; mistaken about the 6 acres and water rights sold for $5000; Mr. Owens wrote William about a property purchase; his stocks have done poorly of late; Mrs. Thomas is visiting but still has health issues; Belle and family are well; Mrs. R. will receive no more money from her husband’s estate and will be in dire financial states; Miss Irving and the little boys are well; Dody is doing better and earning a salary; the family will visit the grave of Loulie; had a very wet and disastrous spring; visited with the Pleasant family and Miss Titus, and sees the Richardsons quite often. folded. This collection was relocated from the Wheatland mansion to the LancasterHistory archives in the Spring of 2009.
