"Spring Flood" oil painting on canvas is attributed to Lloyd Mifflin. Elaborate gold frame.
Painting is a landscape done in browns, greens, light yellow and light blue in loose brush strokes. Consists of two farmhouses on either side of a flooded lane. In the center of the lane is a man riding a house with his back to the viewer. He is leading another horse at his right.
Frame is period but not original. Plaque at bottom of frame, applies by donor reads: :SPRING FLOOD/LLOYD MIFFLIN."
Painting in good condition with some cracking at upper left corner and light soiling overall. Frame is heavily soiled with small crack, scratches and chips overall. Paint on frame is worn in various places.
