Swarr saying that he has enrolled his nephew John Weaver in Claymont School and asking reimbursement for fees and clothing; asking reimbursement from the estate for his travel and expenses on behalf of the estate; needing an advance of a few thousand dollars because three of his children probably will be married in the near future but asking that no one else be told of the coming marriages; asking for $100 each for his niece Maria B. Weaver and her brother James B. Weaver; expecting the wines to sell well; hoping to meet with Mr. Howell in Laurel Hill; enclosing a note that Mr. Henry received from William and John O’Brien; planning to discuss the sale of the securities when he is in Lancaster; and having received the farm advertisements. This collection was relocated from the Wheatland mansion to the LancasterHistory archives in the Spring of 2009.
