Description
Richard E. Williams, Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., gives his wife, Mary Elizabeth, a big kiss and is congratulated by Donald G. Harter after Williams took first place in the 1928-29 division of the Ford Model A. Restorers Club national meet at Greefield Village. Williams, a brother of Michigan Governor G. Mennen Williams, entered a 1929 Touring car. Harter, of Birmingham, Mich., is chairman of the national MARC executive committee and president of the Motor Cities Chapter of the MARC. Note that the clothes go back to 1929, too.

Photographs from MG-63, the Johnny Hauck Collection. Hauck was a local boxing historian and brother of noted local boxer Leo Hauck. The Haucks grew up in Lancaster's Cabbage Hill neighborhood and were known as all-around athletes.
