White Cotton Quilt by Fannie (Young) Weaver
Description
White cotton quilt with white binding. Creased and folder. Excellent condition. Very small orange stain on quilt.
Provenance
Jeannie M. Wine is the granddaughter of the quilt maker, Fannie (Young) Weaver.
Fannie Young Weaver married Elam Weaver. Daughter E. Jean Weaver, mother of the donor, married Reverend Jacob C. Wine in 1941.
Fannie (Young) Weaver is the mother of S. Clyde Weaver of S. Clyde Weaver Smoked Meats and Cheese.
The gift is given in memory of Elam and Fannie Weaver.

Sound condition with expected areas of soil and stains, some fairly large liquid stains and multiple small brown stains. Acid burn along fold lines of back.
