Odd Fellows Fraternal Apron. Flat piece shaped like a pocket with blackened metallic braid hand-stitched around sides, bottom and a pocket-shaped edge at the top. The top outside edge is bare. Pleated red silk, 3/4-inch wide, has been sewn beneath the braid. Printed on the silk: An eye, top center, on the faux tab, "I.O.O.F." Beneath is a printed banner with "Friendship, Love & Truth." Back is heavy fabric.

All the pleated silk fringes on the outside edge have broken off as well as some on the inside.
White bib apron (25% cotton/ 75% poly) to go with dress (2019.001.5 A). "Large" size apron has panels gathered with bib attached at waist both front and back. 2-piece white starched cotton apron: bib front (with label) & 3.5-inch wide shoulder straps that are pinned in the back to the 2.5-inch waist band of the gathered skirt. Mt. Joy 16ers Association Banner. Rod with metal acorn-shaped ends. Center eye-bolt for hanging. Gold-colored twisted cable with tasseled ends is wrapped around ends of rod. Tassels dangle at sides. 4 fabric tabs on rod support the dark blue satiny fabric banner. Gold-colored cording spells: "MT. JOY.16ERS ASSOCIATION ORGANIZED FEB. 33-1888"
Gold fringe is sewn along bottom scalloped edge. Back of banner is plain.
Mt. Joy Post 478 GAR banner. Pencil guidelines for hand-painted 7.75-inch high black letters: "THIS TABLE FOR BENEFIT/ OF/ G.A.R. POST 478."

59-inch length of 34-inch wide fabric (both edges are selvedges). Brown spotting and dirty. Puncture holes in all four corners. Black letters/numbers are vibrant black.
This top is part of a 2-piece (shirt & slacks) student nurse uniform. Commercially-made fine blue-white vertical striped fabric (25% cotton/ 75% poly), short-sleeved top with white collar and center front decorative white pleated (10" long x 6.25 " wide) bib insert with 4 pearl-like plastic buttons sewn down the center. Rear opening zipper. Loops at front neck opening and back of collar to attach to small white buttons. Fitted with back & front (bust) darts. A blue & white circular patch embroidered with the seal of "St.-Joseph-Hospital-School-of-Nursing" is sewn on the left sleeve. Label with care instructions inside garment.
