West Lampeter High School pennant.
One-sided red and yellow felt pennant. Red reinforcing strip on end (ties at top and bottom are gone). Machine-stitiched. Tapers from 13.5 inches to point.
"1913" in red, vertically at wide end.
"M.T.H.S." in yellow, horizontally.
"C.S.W." in ink on back.

Coin-shaped medallion, silvered metal, framed so it is visible from both sides. Front side depicts PA state seal surrounded by "THE PENNSYLVANIA STATE AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY." Under seal is "INSTITUTED / A.D. / 1851
Reverse side is engraved "Awarded to / Saml. C. Slaymaker / Salisbury Lancaster Co. / for / Best collection of Apples / Exhibition of 1855" Encircled by wreath border of grapevines, corn and grain.

Superimposed in the center is the Army/Navy "E" flag. At the bottom: "Home Front Production, The Slaymaker Lock Company, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, This award is a tribute to the members of our organization who have made possible the winning of this honor."
