*** Note: See object file. The Woodward book mentions a sword, belt, and sash on pages 167 and 277, but no mention of a case. The case included in the accession was most likely for epaulets (1956.009.3) belonging to General Reynolds.
Eyeglasses and case belonging to Mary Eichholtz. Glasses with gold/brass frames are stamped McAllister on inside of one arm and engraved, "Mary Eichholtz," on the outside of the opposite arm. Case is silverplated, unmarked and lined in blue velvet.
Gold-colored metal pin with "Independence Hall" beneath the building at the top. Frame below: "Committee" in blue letters on white. In gold letters on blue ribbon slid onto a pin on the back : "New York / Worlds Fair / 1939 / Womens / Advisory / Committee / of / Pennsylvania". Fringe at bottom .

Reverse side is engraved "Awarded to / Saml. C. Slaymaker / Salisbury Lancaster Co. / for / Best collection of Apples / Exhibition of 1855" Encircled by wreath border of grapevines, corn and grain.
