Description
Letter from J. B. Henry to Mary Hagner Nicholson commenting on the heat wave; hoping that she is not too tired after reading his lengthy letter; his boredom at having to chaperone his cousin, Miss S, even after trying to expound of the merits of General Ward as a love interest; and wonders why he has lost interest in everyone else but her; commenting on the praise Scharff heaped upon her; and hoping to persuade her mother to allow her to write more often.
