Admin/Biographical History: Elizabeth Herr Shenk (1869-1934) married Leroy Frey Mayer (1868-1958). Their daughter Kathryn M. Mayer Lichty (1901-1972) and her husband Charles Fouse Lichty (1899-1983) moved to Howell County, Missouri between 1940 and 1950.

Description: "West Point Tic Tacs, A Collection of Military Verse" is book belonging to Blanton C. Welsh that he recieved in West Point, New York at the military academy there. The book was published by Homer Lee & Co. of 65 Liberty Street, New York and copyrighted in 1878. The book is dedicated to the cadets and graduates of the United States Military Academy. The contents include cadet songs and poems, army poems, and other miscellaneous writings as well as illustrations all from various authors and illustrators. There are also loose interted photographs and paper cut outs throughout the pages and signature pages in the back of the book.
