Henry relating his voyage on the sailing vessel Monongahela from Annapolis to the Scilly Islands enroute to Madeira, Spain; details his day-to-day routine included drills, the poor food and water, sleeping conditions, and several severe storms; asks if he and Buzz are at the Lake and wishes he were there. Envelope with one postmark and torn right top corner addressed to Mr. J. Buchanan Henry, Hague, Lake George, NY United States of America. Both have some water damage with little loss of text.
