enable them to avoid paying Interest, a considerable portion of which will ultimately come out of the State Treasury, in conse- quence of the expense of the Bridge being augmented by the payment of said interest." 6 Rates of Toll The rates of toll for the Columbia Bridge Company were as follows: "For
