"Old Conestoga Wagon, en route to Philadlphia Sesqui-centennial leaving Lancaster Oct. 19, arriving Philadelphia, Oct. 20, 1926"
Message on back: "This old Conestoga Wagon, now the property of Amos S. Gingrich, Lancaster, Pa., is at least one hundred and thirty nine years old, and is one of the thousands which were the principal means of heavy transportation between Lancaster, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, up to the advent of the railroad.
Unique outdoor experiences await visitors to Lancaster County's Pennsylvania Dutch country. Some campgrounds, for example, even offer rides in old fashioned vehicles like this authentic Conestoga wagon.
