Ogee-molded, gilded frame with large overhanging crest at top. Scrolled leaf carving around edges. Central applied molding at center of shield surrounded by foliate/floral garlands. Top has shell style, with fleur-de-lis crown.

Round convex mirror surrounded by wide gilded frame, one candleholder extending from each side. On underside is a large three leaf design. Top design is of lilies and small urn with flowers.
Ogee molded gilt wood frame, mitred corners. Thin layer of gesso on wood, under paint. Frame has chipped gesso and wood is cracked. Paint crizzled. Stains. Glass in good condition.
Was donated for Fallfest but kept for dining room because it closely resembled one in 'Leslie's Illustrated' (dining room). Mirror that was in dining room was deaccessioned in the 1980's and sold at auction instead.
