American Legion Section Riverview Burial Park, Lancaster's Original Garden of Memories (Established 1908). This beautiful memorial section, officially dedicated by Post No. 34, is but one of the many outstadning feattures of Riverview, including the Sun Dial Garden, Star Garden, Sunken Garden and Babyland. Age-old trees of unusual beauty and shrubbery and flowers in aboundance have created an exquisite spot dedicated to sacred memories. Delightfule music heard throughout the Cemetery adds to the inspiration.

This vista includes the beautiful artificial lake, a specimen of the carefully selected and highly cultivated floral preserves, and a promenade bordered with trees, that, coparatively still in infancy, give promise of much added beatuty in their maturity. The park was laid out by one of the most eminent landscape gardners of Philadelphia.
